Terms of Use

1. Purpose

Popz ("the App", "the Service") is a mobile application published by Gorret Labs that lets you track the series and films you watch, and know your next episode. Using the App means you fully accept these Terms of Use.

2. Access to the service

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You must have the legal capacity required to accept these terms. The Service is provided "as is" and may change, be suspended, or discontinued at any time, in particular during development or maintenance.

3. Third-party services

Popz relies on third-party services to operate: TMDB (The Movie Database) for metadata and posters, and Trakt for tracking your progress. Use of these features is subject to each service's own terms. Gorret Labs is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content provided by these third parties.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes;
  • attempt to access other users' systems or data;
  • disrupt or overload the Service's infrastructure (API, notifications);
  • reverse-engineer the App beyond what the law permits.

5. Intellectual property

The Popz brand, its logo, and the App's code are the property of Gorret Labs. Displayed metadata and artwork (posters, synopses) remain the property of their respective rights holders, made available via TMDB.

6. Notifications

If you enable notifications, the App may notify you when a new episode airs for the series you track, via Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can disable these notifications at any time from your device settings.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided without guarantee of availability, accuracy, or completeness of the information displayed. Gorret Labs cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use or the impossibility of using the App.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the Service evolves. The last-updated date at the top of this page reflects the version in force. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
